It is totally frozen! I remember one year when Andrea and Elizabeth could go ice skating on Thanksgiving Day. This is pretty unusual for Nov., it has been pretty cold, well in the teens at night, not so cold for Aim, I suppose that might be a heat wave for Alaska.
Joe begins his new job on Monday. Working for Werner Enterprises. He graduated with his CDL on Monday. Orientation is in Indianapolis, then he trains for 90 days traveling around the USA with a trainer. He is not sure where he will be going. Hopefully home for Thanksgiving, for sure home for Christmas. It's a new adventure for him and me too. Not having him here will be strange. We leave in a few hours (gotta watch the Michigan Game) for Indianapolis, I'll stay over night and drive home Sun. I gave him an early Christmas present. ASUS! So he can keep up with his Detroit Free Press Sports, espn, family and friends. We had a test run last night over dinner at Panera with free WiFi. He's good to go.
Stay warm family, Love ya!! Keep singing!
ps. notice it was too cold for me to go out on the deck for a picture. i stood in the house!! HA!

Are you sure it's frozen? It just looks like water to me and I think I could go for a dip. Best wishes to Joe and his new adventure. Hope you bring a camera to get a photo of that big truck. "Ten Four, Good Buddy!"
I noticed alot of the ponds around here are frozen. I had some yard work to do and dang if there wasn't a crust of frozen dirt on all the gardens! It has been a cold week. It's been very cold for Aimee - it didn't get above 10 below on Friday. She is still riding her bike to work!
That's great that Joe got his CDL. That'll be a great way to see the country - Maybe he can get some runs to Florida too. You'll have to convince him to get a blog going - it would be fun to see where he is...
Catch you on the flip - flop!
That wasn't Matt - It was me!!! HA! it's funny when the boys are home!
How cool for Joe! Congratulations! Hope he'll blog and keep us up on his travels. C'mon over to GR if you find yourself alone on Thanksgiving!
Nancy, now that we have a cross country driver in the family, could you post where he is at and any trip tips on highways or gas prices? Joe may be too busy driving or on espn to post for himself.
Honk honk for Joe-Joe! By the way Bill, if you read any comments, Nancy bought him the 900. EXCELLENT! Good luck on the road. Will you be buying a rig of your own?
