Sue's Views

O.K. so this isn't a canary of mine, but I sold two canaries and a bird cage tonight! Plus the lady wants to barter for two more canaries by painting a picture of Rusty and Ruby. Although I haven't seen her work yet, my co-worker (our internal auditor) is best friends with her. Kathy says she is an excellent painter. Pretty cool, eh! I'll still have 9 birds. Ron said Bruce might want a couple. The pups are doing great. It's going to take a little longer to train them since there's two...I think they get a little distracted at times. But they're learning each day, and we're figuring out their body language a little more each day. The next picture I send will be a picture of the lavish three-story dog pen and house. I think I might move in. I just landscaped it a little more today. It now has two hanging flowers that adorn the front entrance.
Love,
Sue

Great to hear from you, Sue. Save a corner of that dog house for me, next summer. Hanging flowers at the entrance? I'll take care of them. I just read "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle". It is a great book, and a dog-lover/trainer must read. Look for it, you and Ron would love it.

Have you Read; "Selling birds, for fun and profit and a portrait of your dogs??" I say let her paint a picture - How many people can say they have a portrait of their pet??

OK, I'm not up on dog training stuff, but I'm worried that R&R may be getting a little uppity with such lavish living arrangements. Like what is the advantage to being good if they already have such great digs??..I wonder if you should block off the 3rd story den until they can make it through a day accident free, or only put up the hanging flowers if they can make it through the night...Just a thought!

James, once again you are thinking too much. . but I love it! Sue, how do you keep track of it all, I can just hear it now. . . "I didn't mess up, it was Rusty's fault" "no way, I didn't do it, that was Ruby!!" "I messed up because she did first!" This must be like having twins.

SPEAKING of birds, did I tell you I saw a rocky mountain bluebird at the mine I was working at? I thought of you when I saw it. Whodathunk? A dainty little thing like that is hanging around the world's largest man-made excavation?
