For 14 years Betty and Rudi Rudicel have attended Hidden Springs church. Their daughter, Carolyn Adams is a teacher at school and her daughter Erin was on the puppet team. Last week I found out Rudi graduated from High School with mom!! His wife Betty graduated the year after mom. He barely remembered mom, but he did know Shirley Jenson, and of course he knew Bob Selick! He used to play baseball with him. It was so much fun talking about their class and school, Rudi ran home and found the 1940 Southeastern High School Yearbook! It was fun seeing her picture and talking about mom. He calls me cousin now. Such a nice man. (His wife Betty died 3 weeks ago.) Who else do you remember mom talking about in High School? What a small world! Miss you all, Love, Nan

That is a neat story. Anything that starts the memories rolling again is a good thing. Excuse me for being so forgetful, but who is Bob Selick? Tom Selick's father? Tell me that story again.
Yes, mom used to say she graduated with Tom Selleck's dad, "he was tall and handsome!". The funny thing was Rudi said the exact same thing, "he was tall and handsome" I cracked up!
Neat! What a small world! I'm thinking you gals ought to contact Bob Selleck and have him introduce you to his son - complete this Rathbun claim to fame!
That is cool! I don't remember any other mom stories. But I do tell people that we are tight with the selik family!
