Sue's Views

My friend, Therese took this picture two nights ago. She does photography on the side. I love this picture. I have to get some of the parade pictures that she took for First Federal. Say prayers for Jett. He had to have surgery today after his stitches got infected. On Monday he saw a dentist in Seattle after his bunk bed accident. The dentist thought he may have broken his jaw. He couldn't tell if he did or not, but even if he did, they wouldn't do anything for him. They would just make sure it heals. Candy said his mouth was puffed up like a racketball. He couldn't eat or drink anything today while Candy waited for the call to take him into surgery. Poor little guy.I took today off. Stress related. I won't go into details. We really should plan a get together with Aunt Beverly. I'd better get a card off tomorrow. The Dodson's and Turvey's are coming up for the White Tail Dinner tomorrow. Therese and Tim and their son are joinning us at our table, along with Bernice and Don. It's held at the Hillman Community Center. Later...Sue...by the way...I loved the village, Sally.

Yes, poor Jett. I remember two more monkeys jumpin'on the bed about 50 years ago. Even though their Mamma told them not to, it was a daily naptime event...right before they tumbled each other in the dryer. (Hope Jett can't read this and get any more ideas).

Did you guys even have dryers 50 years ago?? HA!

Poor Jet! I have to admit, my sisters and I were also monkeys jumpin' on the bed. In 2 different incidents, I hit my head on the headboard and both times had to get stitches. You'd think I would've learned the first time! Anyhow, I have the scars - one is in my hair and the other is right along the hairline.

Very funny, James. Now I see just about everyone in the family has had some kind of jumping on the bed injury. Luckily, no brain damage that we know of.

I don't remember jumping on beds, are you sure it wasn't janet schnackinburg? I'm sure if I was jumping it was Sue's idea. I do remember the dryer thing in West Virgina though. Poor Jim (i think he was in the dryer, and I think it was when Grandma Traxler was over), poor Jett, poor Shawn! No more monkeys jumping on the beds, esp. if your mother is currently running in a marathon!

No, no, no! The great dryer caper occured in N.Y. It was in the laundryroom where Mom had the sewing machine that I used to tap dance on...DOH! Did I say that?
